The New Orleans Ale Stars Jazz Band
Saturday January 23rd, the Ale Stars will grace the stage at Stomp it Off! as a part of the great entertainment for the Rhythm City Mess Around, a weekend of workshops, dancing and inspiration with Daniel Heedman and Åsa Palm of the world famous Harlem Hot Shots and Mike Faltesek and Casey Schneider of the (justly) world famous Seattle Lindy Hop scene!

Every Saturday Jungle Swing presents Vancouver’s premier weekly swing dance event, Stomp it Off!. The Stomp it Off! dance takes place at the Grandview Legion Auditorium located at 2205 Commercial Drive in Vancouver. Just three blocks from the Commercial & Broadway Skytrain station and with ample street parking, the Legion Auditorium is easily accessible for everyone.
The Grandview Legion Auditorium sports a sprung dance floor and the feel of an old time dance hall! It’s a great place for Jungle Swing to host the Stomp it Off! swing dance. There are not many places like it in Vancouver and fewer still with the space needed for Stomp it Off!
Once a month, Jungle Swing brings in live music to perform at Stomp it Off!. These very special events offer the best in live local jazz music and dancing and are not to be missed. Watch for announcements on what bands are playing and when.
