This week is the start of the annual Rhythm City Mess Around hosted by Rhythm City Productions. This thing just keeps getting better every year and it’s one of Vancouver’s most anticipated swing dance events. For 2010, Jungle Swing is very honoured to host one of the biggest dance nights of the year during this outrageously fun event.
This Saturday, January 23rd, the Stomp it Off! dance will be host to The New Orleans Ale Stars, one of Vancouver’s most exciting hot jazz bands. Add to that some amazing competitions, dancers from all over the place AND of course our regular Drop-in Lesson for those in need of a boost. Heck, this one will be a great one for people who want to listen and watch. Make sure you get there early, though. It will be a busy night and we don’t do reservations.
Remember, we’ll have our Drop-in Lesson and Dj Alan will be spinning during the band breaks. Once again, this will be one of the biggest nights of this young year, with attendance anticipated to be up near last week’s stellar 200+ dance enthusiasts. Come in early and get the most out of your evening!
The cover charge for this evening of dance mayhem is $19.00. If your a Jungle Swing member cover is reduced to $16.00. There’s no reason not to attend!
See you Saturday at Stomp it Off!, Vancouver’s premier swing dance.
Cheers,
Darren

Hi Bruce,
There won’t be a specific Valentines dance on the 13th. Something we will be having this month is a Fresh Meat night with a couple new Dj’s trying their hand on the decks under the guidance of two experienced Dj’s. That will happen on February 20th.
And you card will be there!
Cheers,
Darren
