It’s not how I’m feelin’, it’s how I want my music! Crazy, fun, fast and furious… like the music the Hoppin’ Mad Orchestra plays, which everyone will discover on October 24th at Stomp it Off! Not that many of the regular dancers haven’t heard of them, but if you’re new to swing dancing or just want to check out a great jazz band, you’ll discover them for the first time in just over a week.

Almost monthly, Jungle Swing brings in a band to Stomp it Off! and for October it’s Hoppin’ Mad. This band is made up of some of the best local musicians with a huge playlist. The band has over 800 charts in the library, ranging from the late 1920′s golden jazz era, through the swing era of the 1930′s and right up to and including the 1940′s music of Glenn Miller and Count Basie. The band is a 10 piece band; 2 trumpets, 1 trombone, 3 reeds, 4 rhythm. There are some stellar vocalists in the band, including the incredible Male Vocal Trio!
